Alvaldi is an independent, privately owned holding company, founded in 2014 by Dr. Sïmon Saneback. 

Alvaldi makes passive seed investments in growth companies and early-stage funds with a focus on technology and social impact.

The name Alvaldi comes from Norse mythology and means ‘the all-powerful one’. Alvaldi was a giant, said to be exceedingly wealthy in gold. On his death his sons divided the wealth between them by measuring it out in mouthfuls.
